Chairman’s Message for 2016

York County GOP Chair Jim BoothDear Delegates,

I hope that everyone is enjoying Christmas time. And next week is the new year, wow 2016! With the new year almost here, we at York County have a huge year ahead of us. We have to work extra hard to ensure that we elect people that have our conservative values not only in their minds but also in their hearts.

Please get involve with our movement to “paint York County” Red. Our goal as you know is to make our Republican caucus the majority. In the Maine House in 2014 the numbers where 14 Dems. and 8 Republicans. We picked up the Sanford seat in the special election in November. So the York county caucus is now 13 Dems to 9 Republicans. The Senate is currently 3 Dems. and 2 Republicans.

We need foremost Candidates! Please, we need good Republicans to step forward and run for elected office. The Dems. have young militant out of staters running for seats to push their liberal agenda. We need candidates for House in Kittery, Eliot, Sanford, Kennebunk, Saco,& Biddeford. And Senate candidates in Biddeford,Saco, and York areas. We also need a county commissioner seat in Sanford -Waterboro area.

Everyone brings qualities to the table. Driving candidates around, talking on the phone, literature drops, lawn sign installers, computer experts etc. We need volunteers at our Sanford office.

We will be electing a new Republican President in 2016. We all have our favorite person, but we all know that we can not have 4 more years of Obama-Clinton, non-American values. On March 5th the State of Maine will be voting for the Republican nominee for President. We will be having York County caucus in Biddeford and hopefully we will have a great day. If you or anyone you know wants to get involve feel free email me or call me at 207-590-4701.

Thank you!
